Rules of Conduct.

Overview

ioMMO expects all members to read, understand, and accept the Rules of Conduct prior to accessing services provided.  The user conduct is a means in which to keep members under control in an online environment.  We do not want members to disrupt service to others, and therefore we have written this user agreement.  Due to the nature of an online environment, ioMMO cannot be held liable for users accessing the site.

Who can use ioMMO?

• Individuals with lawful intentions.
• Individuals ages 18+.
• Individuals 13+ with parental permission.
• Speakers of the English language.  (You must be able to read the Terms, and all user agreements to access ioMMO services)

General Conduct

• NO Racism.
• NO Foul language.
• DO NOT violate the rights of others.
• DO NOT harass, threaten, cause distress, or defraud members.
• DO NOT subject members to harmful, sexually explicit, threatening, abusive, obscene, defamatory, hateful, or ethnically abusive treatment.
• DO NOT violate any local, state, national, or international laws.
• DO NOT advertise gold selling sites or power leveling sites.
• DO NOT advertise the sales of goods or services in any form.
• DO NOT advertise your website in your signature, or anywhere on the website without expressed permission.
• DO NOT advertise torrent sites, warez sites, piracy sites, and sites for illegal activities.
• DO NOT share personally identifiable information such as mailing addresses, full names, phone numbers, etc,.
• DO NOT impersonate anyone including, but not limited to other members, employees, representatives or anyone affiliated with ioMMO.
• DO NOT be part of, or a member of any pledges, groups, or organizations, or organize themselves any groups that are based on, or expose any racism, discriminations based on religion, ethnicity and sexual orientation or other hate mongering philosophies. All associated accounts that participate in these activities will be blocked, banned, or deleted.
• DO NOT use ioMMO's website for purposes pertaining to, but not limited to: The exchange / transfer of any pirated software or contraband, share files that are infringing on someone's intellectual copyrights, trademarks, and so on, use the site for exchanging links directing members to these illegal pirate sites, or use the site for any other illegal purposes.
• DO NOT transmit or upload any copyrighted content without the expressed prior written permission from the copyright holder / author.
• Members may only use the site for what is expressed permissible. Any other acts that are in question should be brought to the attention of the ioMMO team.
• We expect all members to use common sense when following the rules.

Username Guidelines

• You may not have a name that conflicts with the user agreement.
• You may not have a name that has "Admin", or convinces members that you are a representative of ioMMO.
• You may not have a name that belittles another member.  This is considered flaming / harassment.
• You may not have a name that resembles another members if you are impersonating that member.
• You may not have a name that contains non alpha-numeric characters (a-z, 0-9).
• You may not have a name that advertises another website, forum, email, or other entity without expressed permission.
• All names are to be determined valid at our sole discretion.

PM (Personal Messages)

• PMs are subject to the same rules and regulations as if it were available to the public.

Forum Conduct

The forums provide members a way to communicate and keep in touch with one another. The setting of the forums are intended for "Online Gaming" and it should be understood that any posts that are irrelevant to the setting may be deleted without prior warning. There are areas on the forums for irrelevant information. Please stick to those areas when not conversing about online games. General guidelines are as follows.

• All members are expected to read and understand the forum guidelines.
• There will be "NO" flaming on the forums.  (Hostile and insulting interaction between internet users.)
• There will be "NO" trolling on the forums.  (Posting topics / comments or placing in your signature disruptive behavior.)
• There will be "NO" spam on the forums.  (Double posting, excessive bumping, cross posting in multiple boards.)
• There will be "NO" topics on old topics that declare the old topic should be brought back.  Just be relevant.
• There will be "NO" topics / replies / comments / signatures typed in all CAPS.
• There will be "NO" posts made in another language other than that which is accepted at ioMMO. (English)
• There will be "NO" comments or posts or messages sent to us or other members regarding outside behavior of other members.
• There will be "NO" comments pertaining to post irrelevancy.
• There will be "NO" comments pertaining to rumors or slander.
• There will be "NO" comments pertaining to violent comments.
• There will be "NO" comments pertaining to malicious acts, deeds or behavior.
• There will be "NO" comments pertaining to anti-gender or sexist behavior.
• There will be "NO" comments pertaining to discrimination or racial behavior.
• There will be "NO" comments pertaining to religion or religious behavior.
• There will be "NO" comments pertaining to sexually explicit or inappropriate behavior.
• There will be "NO" comments pertaining to pornographic material of any kind.
• There will be "NO" comments pertaining to game style bashing.
• There will be "NO" comments pertaining to hacks, cheats or ingame exploits.
• There will be "NO" comments pertaining to advertising or promotion.
• There will be "NO" comments pertaining to game services using real life currency.
• There will be "NO" comments pertaining to trading / exchanging your ioMMO account.
• There will be "NO" comments pertaining to free servers for Free / Paid games.
• There will be "NO" comments pertaining to ISOs, ROMs, Console Emulation, or Arcade Emulation.
• There will be "NO" comments pertaining to Anime downloads or streams.
• There will be "NO" comments pertaining to Illegal file downloads such as music, beats, tunes, software, etc,.
• There will be "NO" comments pertaining to Government assigned numbers.

Avatars

• All avatars are subject to the rules and regulations of ioMMO.
• Avatars may not be sexually suggestive, vulgar, or hateful.
• Avatars may not be used for purposes of promotion or advertising.
• (More regulations pending).

Signatures

• All signatures are subject to the rules and regulations of ioMMO.
• Signatures may not have more than one image.
• Signature images width may not exceed the dimensions of (pending).
• Signature images size may not exceed the (pending).
• Signatures may not exceed the letter limit of (pending).
• Team members of ioMMO will determine if your signature is within the confines of the user agreement.

Trading

• Trading is permitted in designated areas.
• You must comply with the rules and regulations of the company's game you are trading on.
• You may not post trades for physical monetary gain.
• You may not post trades that infringe upon the user agreements of the game's network you are trading on.
• You may not post trades for items in one game to another game, regardless of rules on game networks.
• You may "NOT" hold ioMMO responsible for your trades.

Your relationship with ioMMO Staff

• You should be respectful to the ioMMO team.  It is upon the individual staff member's sole discretion as to consequences for disrespect.
• You are not to get romantically involved with any team member of ioMMO.

• To protect us from other users.
• To make the community an enjoyable place for everyone.

How do I report violations on your rules?

• Click on the "Contact Us" link at the bottom of the page, then fill out the form.  Click "Member Reporting".

ioMMO wishes all members to enjoy the services provided.  Members are solely responsible for the posts they make on the website, and solely responsible for their accounts and account involvement in the website's activities.  ioMMO does not endorse, support, or sponsor comments or posts made in any form by any member.  Our staff will do their best in moderating and managing the forums and the site, however this is a manual and live task, we cannot guarantee all posts be managed the moment they are posted.  We ask any posts or violations breaking the rules be reported using our "Contact Us" form immediately located at the bottom of the website.

ioMMO reserves the right to update these rules at any time, with or without notice.  All members are expected to read and understand the rules, regardless of language spoken.
